ADOPT A BALD EAGLE VILLAGE FLOWER BARREL!
Our Village can use your help! Why not adopt one or more flower barrels near your home to water on a regular basis? There are 87 opportunities to assist with the monumental task of watering these planters.
•If you are interested, email (roxstorm13@msn.com) or call (973-728-0933) to leave a message as soon as possible. Include your name, unit number, phone number and/or email address, and the location/s of barrel/s you would like to adopt. You will be contacted in return to confirm.
•The adopted barrel/s will be tagged so our maintenance staff will know to omit them when they water the rest of the Village barrels.
•Your barrel/s need to be watered through the end of September at least twice a week during cooler weather and every other day during the hot summer. You will need to get a substitute if you go on vacation.
•One full watering can or two gallon containers will do the job each time.
•Our staff will continue to apply liquid fertilizer several times during the growing season. No need for you to fertilize!
•Barrels are adopted on a first come, first served basis. Alternate locations will be available upon request.
